Meet April B.

Owner and Lead Artist

I never would have thought that my love for arts and crafts as a child would have turned into a career that allows me to express my creativity through various mediums. And I definitely never thought that tattooing would become my main squeeze. When I first started tattooing, I was focused on realism but only a couple years in, watercolor found me and it never left. I love free handing custom designs and adding my touch of splatter to the piece. My love for Disney, animals and travel also show in my work.I'm still in disbelief with how far I have come in my career in the past decade. I have made so many amazing connections and have built lasting friendships with my clients over the years. And I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue on this path while creating and growing through my art.

Meet Sam Peña

Resident Artist

Illustration and tattoos have always been an interest and passion of mine, and after working in the corporate design field for many years, I’m excited to finally take the plunge into a more fulfilling and artistic career. Tattooing is an immensely cathartic process for me, and I love being able to meet new clients, learn about their life and work with them to commemorate their experiences and interests. I have an intense love of all things colorful, trippy, sci-fi and horror and am always excited to work on custom projects! When I’m not drawing, you can find me playing music and singing with my band TREASVRE or riding my motorcycle around. I’m continually floored by the support of artists and clients in the community and feel like I have truly found my calling!

Meet Mallory R.

Resident Artist

Hey there, I'm Mallory, a tattoo artist with a love for bright colors and meaningful tattoos. I started tattooing in 2016 after a happy accident led me to discover my passion for this craft. As an artist, I'm all about bringing my clients' visions to life, and my personal style is clean, elegant, and always a little bit fun.

Outside of tattooing, you'll find me exploring my many hobbies and interests, from painting to amateur photography. I'm a fun-loving person who believes in treating everyone with kindness and respect, no matter who they are or where they come from, and I'm always excited to make new connections and collaborate with other great artists.

Meet Betty B.

Resident Artist

Im Betty Bruise Machine, a non-binary, cartoon lovin, furry freak femme tattoo artist specializing in tattooing my original artwork. I love to draw sexy animalistic femmes and create chaotic flash sheets, all of which can be found on my Instagram (@bruisemachine). I love to do large fineline detailed pieces, however I’m always down to do some thick trad lines, and bold colors are always my favorite! Tattooing my own art has been a dream come true, and I’m glad I get to connect with so many cool people through it. Giving my clients something to take with them forever means a lot knowing it’s my original artwork. Even though I love tattooing all my pre drawn flash, I’m always happy to draw a custom personal and unique to you! I’m super passionate about the art I create and am forever grateful this is the path I’ve chosen.

Meet Makoto N.

Resident Artist

Hey there, I'm Makoto!  Originally from the Bay Area, I've spent 8 years on the East Coast going to the Maryland Institute College of Art before diving headfirst into the tattoo industry where I developed my style/love for making custom tattoo designs that are personal, dark, and beautiful. Now, I'm so psyched to return to the Bay, where I can't wait to work with people from all walks of life by helping them conjure and commit to skin the masterpieces they have contained within their mind!

I love working on all types of projects in styles ranging from realism to illustrative, especially pet portraits,  animals,flowers/foliage, vibrant fruits, intricate stylized insects, macabre designs, neo traditional portraits, dark fanart/tribute tattoos, and anything that's enchanting, full of personality, and perhaps just a bit edgy.
Outside of tattooing, I'm constantly pursuing my passions as a vocal coach, hiking and spending time outdoors, or curling up at home with a drawing, a horror movie, and my cat, Mormo:)
Tattooing is my calling because it grants me the privilege to give people art that they feel strongly enough to commit to their body permanently. I am forever humbled by that trust and connection and I hope that we can make some masterpieces together soon <3

Meet Jules

APPRENTICE

I am a queer artist with a deep love for nature & animals, which influences my work.  I have been drawing since I was a kid & identify with “thinking in pictures”. I love florals, fairies and surrealistic illustrations.

Previous to entering the tattoo industry I worked in care work & advocacy for folks with disabilities.  Tattooing combines my interests in the creative arts and healing work for the community.  I love brainstorming and playing with ideas that clients have. In my free time I can be found in a body of water, exploring trails around the bay, rock climbing, or snuggled up with my cats.

Meet Vineha

APPRENTICE

I have loved color and art since my childhood! Born and raised in India, I studied engineering and then worked in corporate tech for over a decade. In 2022 I quit my job to pursue a creatively fulfilling career. I have worked with various media, but my longest relationship has been with batik art, making Ukrainian Easter eggs called ‘Pysanky’. My love for color, symmetry and patterns can be seen in the Pysanky I make.Over the years I’ve collected tattoos from all over the world. Every time I got tattooed, I wondered if and when might I be able to tattoo full time!

Finally, I have begun my journey as a very excited apprentice! I cannot wait to see the tattoos I create, meet new people and make new friendships!

I love eating, talking, cooking, nature, my dogs, animals, family, flowers, art, coffee, beer, driving, music, Trader Joe’s and making handmade things! Occasionally I like hiking, backpacking, riding my motorcycle, gardening, dancing, and taking naps. I rarely enjoy desserts or going shopping.
